	Opening Days a Success! On Tuesday, we warmly welcomed 4,676 students to the 2025-26 school year! The beautiful weather contributed to a great start, and the first day was capped off with a welcome back barbeque for Scarsdale High School Students. We thank you for your patience as morning and afternoon routines and transportation routes became solidified, and we look forward to a year of growth, learning, and joy!
	Community Calendar Each year, the Scarsdale Parent Teacher Council works hard to develop the Scarsdale Community Calendar in both print and electronic formats. The calendar includes key events across all of our schools along with events hosted by the Village and other civic groups. Visit the online Community Calendar and click on Subscribe to add the calendar to you devices. Thank you our PTC partners!
	Board of Education Meetings The first meeting of the new school year is scheduled for Monday, September 15, 2025, at 6:30 PM. As a reminder, Board meetings are held in Rooms 170-172 of Scarsdale High School and are open to the public. Meetings are also streamed live and recorded for future viewing. Board agendas, meeting minutes, policies, goals, and more can be found on the Board's governance website, BoardDocs. The Board invites public comment during two periods in each meeting, and comments can be made in person or via Zoom. Board meeting notices are typically sent on the Thursday prior to meetings, and include the Zoom link.
	Raiders Back in Action! Fall sports are in full swing as competitions began this week. Looking for something fun to do on Saturday? Come cheer on Boys Volleyball at 1 PM in the SHS Gym and Girls Varsity Soccer @ 3 PM on Butler Field. The first home Varsity Football game is scheduled for 7 PM on Friday, September 12.
