What is C.H.I.L.D.?

C.H.I.L.D. is a PTC-sponsored organization open to all Scarsdale parents. It provides a support network, resources, and peer support regarding a range of developmental concerns.

 

  • Struggles with schoolwork, homework, or social-emotional functioning
  • Concerns about IEP/504 accommodation plans 
  • Preschool developmental concerns
  • Questions about the evaluation process

There are multiple meet-ups throughout the year for parents to connect directly with school and district special education staff and administrators. 

Join us for presentations featuring district staff and local experts on relevant topics:
