Your children's transportation information will be available on the Campus Parent Portal. To view the information, click More on the Portal navigation menu, then click Transportation. If you have more than one child, click your child's name in the top right corner to switch between your children. (The bus routes will be available to view after 8pm on 8/27/25)

Please be patient for the first few weeks of school, increased traffic on the road, new routes, and adjusted schedules may occur and cause a delay or a need for adjustment to your schedule. Please contact us if the issue is not resolved after 1-2 weeks of school.

If your child will not be riding the bus on a particular day and they are the only student at your stop, please notify us in advance so that our driver can adjust the route and avoid delays.

In general, transportation will only be provided to and from your child’s assigned address. If you need a change in pick-up or drop-off locations (e.g., for a child-care provider), please contact the Transportation Department to discuss available options.

Students must board and exit the bus only at their assigned stops unless a written request from a parent or guardian is approved by the transportation office.

No, students are not permitted to bring guests or friends on the bus. Only students assigned to a particular bus are allowed to ride that bus.

- At the end of each route (morning and afternoon), all drivers check their bus for any lost items.
- Drivers will attempt to return the item to the student within 1 day.
- Found items will be turned in at the Transportation Office by the end of the 2nd day.
- Substitute drivers will turn in the found items at the end of their run.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen items left behind.
Storage & Disposal
- Non-valuable items (clothing, lunchboxes, water bottles, etc) will be kept at our Bus Compound for 30 days before being donated or discarded.
- Valuable items will be stored securely until claimed or turned over to the appropriate authorities after an extended period.

New students or families who have moved within the district and have registered for Scarsdale Public School will automatically receive bussing if the residence is Eligible for Transportation.
*Transportation will be provided to students whose homes are located 1.5 miles or more from the District school they are legally enrolled in.
Please contact our office to confirm your student’s bus information, you may need to allow for some processing time.

Transportation will be provided to students attending nonpublic schools located outside the District, provided their homes are a minimum of 1.5 miles and a maximum of 15 miles from the school. Residents must submit a Transportation Request, click here by April 1st of each year.
- New Residents: If you move into the district after April 1st, you must apply within 30 days of establishing residency.

- Late applications will only be honored if there is room on a school bus and there is no additional cost to the District, does not require additional buses or add a significant amount of time to the route.

No, transportation will not be provided to private or parochial schools when Scarsdale Public Schools are closed due to weather conditions or other circumstances. If the district is operating on a delayed schedule, transportation to non-public schools will follow the same delayed schedule.
