Facilities Department Overview
The facilities Department is responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of the district’s seven school buildings, including their surrounding grounds and athletic fields. While the day-to-day maintenance and custodial tasks are performed by the district’s in-house team, specialized services may be contracted as necessary.
Each school is staffed with an on-site head custodian and a dedicated custodial team. To support school-related building use and community events, the custodial staff maintains flexible schedules that include nights and weekends.
Community organizations interested in reserving district facilities are encouraged to contact the Facilities Department to obtain availability, any applicable fees, and other related information. Facilities Use Application and current fee schedules may be found under the Building Rental Forms section of this webpage.
Beyond daily operations, the Facilities Department also plays an essential role in managing district construction and capital improvement projects. In partnership with the Business Office, architects, and construction consultants, the team ensures that all projects meet design specifications, main high-quality standards, and comply with all state and federal regulations.
