Dear Scarsdale Community,

Planning for the 2026-2027 Scarsdale Schools Budget continues, and we invite you to participate in the process. On Monday, January 26th, at 6:30 PM*, the Board will host the budget presentation on staffing recommendations and budget development for the 2026-27 school year. *Please note that if the District is closed on Monday, due to the impending storm, the Board meeting will be cancelled and the budget presentation will be added to the February 2nd Board meeting.

A link to the 2026-27 Budget Calendar and calendar highlights are provided below, and we encourage your input on budget priorities and budget development. Please let us know your thoughts via email at boardofed@scarsdaleschools.org and/or during the public comment periods at our meetings. The complete list of our 2025-26 meeting dates is linked here.

Please note all meetings take place in Rooms 170-172, High School, at 6:30 PM unless stated otherwise.

• Feb. 09: 6:00 PM: Board Budget Study Session #1

• Mar. 02: Board Budget Study Session #2

• Mar. 16: Board Budget Study Session #3

• Mar. 23: The Board conducts a Budget Forum; receives written statements from community groups, and hears initial community comments or statements.

• April 13: The Board responds to the community's written statements on the budget and adopts the 2026-27 budget and Tax Report Card.

• May 11: The Board conducts a Statutory Budget Hearing.

• May 19: 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM (Middle School Gyms): Budget Vote and Election
