Planning for the 2026-27 Scarsdale Schools Budget has begun, and we invite you to participate in the process. On Monday, November 17, at 6:00 PM, the Board will host a Budget Forum to hear from the community on your priorities for the 2026-27 budget. We encourage your input on budget priorities and budget development. Please share this invitation to the Budget Forum with your organizations and let us know your thoughts at the Budget Forum, via email at boardofed@scarsdaleschools.org, and/or during the public comment periods at our Board meetings. 2026-27 Budget Calendar Link and Highlights:

Please note that all meetings take place at 6:30 PM in Rooms 170-172, High School, unless stated otherwise.

• Nov. 17: 6:00 PM: Budget Forum - Priorities for 2026-27 budget

• Jan. 26: Board Presentation of 2025-26 financial projections, 2026-27 budget assumptions, key long-term budgeting factors, staffing recommendations, and other budget items needing Board affirmation for inclusion in the 2026-27 budget.

• Feb. 09: 6:00 PM: Board Budget Study Session #1

• Mar. 02: Board Budget Study Session #2

• Mar. 16: Board Budget Study Session #3

• Mar. 23: The Board conducts a Budget Forum; receives written statements from community groups, and hears initial community comments or statements.

• April 13: The Board responds to the community's written statements on the budget and adopts the 2026-27 budget and Tax Report Card.

• May 11: The Board conducts a Statutory Budget Hearing.

• May 19: 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM (Middle School Gyms): Budget Vote and Election
