Disciplinary Action for School Bus Safety Violations
To maintain safety, students who violate the safety rules may have their bus privileges suspended according to the following schedule:
| Violation | Consequence |
| 1st Violation | Parent/Guardian notified of the violation. |
| 2nd Violation | Conference with the parent/guardian, student, principal, and bus driver or supervisor. Student placed on probation. |
| 3rd Violation | Parent/Guardian notified; bus privileges suspended for 5 school days. |
| 4th Violation | Parent/Guardian notified; bus privileges suspended for 10 school days. |
| 5th Violation | Parent/Guardian notified; bus privileges suspended for 20 school days. |
| 6th Violation | Parent/Guardian notified; bus privileges revoked for the remainder of the school year. |
Serious Safety Violations: If a violation poses a serious safety risk, the student may be immediately suspended for a minimum of 5 school days, regardless of the number of previous violations.
