    The Superintendent of Schools is the Board of Education's executive officer and the District's educational leader. He advises the Board on the broad direction for the academic and non-academic program and works with the staff to translate policy into action. He monitors programs and provides the Board information to perform their oversight function and provides a final level of appeal for administrative decisions. Along with the Board of Education President, he is the District's public spokesperson.
     
    Dr. Andrew PatrickDr. Drew Patrick
    Superintendent of Schools

    Drew Patrick was appointed as Superintendent of Schools on February 13, 2023. Prior to this appointment, Drew served as Interim Superintendent of Schools since May 2022 and Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Leadership Development for Scarsdale Schools since July 2016.

    Prior to this, he worked in public education as a teacher and school district leader since 1998. Before coming to Scarsdale, Drew served as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in Bedford, New York for eight years. Prior to his district-level leadership position, Drew taught earth science, biology, and A.P. environmental science.

    Drew holds degrees from the University of Rochester (B.S., Biology-Geology), the University of South Carolina (M.S., Geology), Bank Street College of Education (M.Ed., Educational Leadership) and Manhattanville College (Ed.D., Educational Leadership). Drew has published works as both a geologist and as an educational leader. Teaching and professional development are focal aspects of his practice as he provides extensive professional development, both within and outside the District.

     
    Jeannie CrowleyJeannie Crowley
    Director of Technology and Innovation, Chief Information and Data Protection Officer

    Jeannie Crowley serves as Director of Technology and Innovation, Co-Director of the Center for Innovation, Chief Information Officer, and Data Privacy Officer.

    Before joining Scarsdale in July 2022, she was Director of Technology at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, Manager of Digital Media and Learning at Bank Street College, and an Innovation Fellow at the Edlab@Teachers College.

    Jeannie began her career in special education as a middle school teacher and technology coordinator at PS188X in New York City. She completed a master's degree in Digital Media Design for Learning at New York University and a master's degree in Elementary Education at Mercy College.

     
    Andrew LennonAndrew Lennon
    Assistant Superintendent for Business

    Andrew Lennon is the Assistant Superintendent for Business. In this role, he oversees the Business, Facilities, Transportation and Food Service departments.

    Andrew has extensive experience in school business leadership in a variety of communities in Westchester County, NY. He has successfully led the development and presentation of school budgets since the inception of the NYS Property Tax Cap and has overseen nearly $100M of capital improvement projects for school districts.

    Andrew is the former President of the Lower Hudson Chapter of the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) New York and has held various leadership roles in Workers’ Compensation and Health Insurance cooperatives for his previous school districts. Andrew was previously the Chair of the Professional Development Committee for ASBO New York and an adjunct professor at Pace University where he taught public school accounting to aspiring school business officials.

    Andrew began his career in the Information Technology industry where he held roles ranging from Financial Analyst to Client Relationship Manager.

    Andrew has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Marist College and master’s degrees in Public Administration and Education Leadership from Pace University.

     
    Dr. Edgar McIntoshDr. Edgar McIntosh
    Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

    Edgar McIntosh serves as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, Co-Director of the Center for Innovation, and Treasurer of The Global Learning Alliance.

    Before joining Scarsdale in July 2018, he was Director of Instruction and Human Resources for the Briarcliff Manor School District, Principal of Ardsley Middle School, and an Assistant Principal at the elementary and middle school levels in Mamaroneck.

    Edgar began his career in education as an elementary teacher in Wilton, Connecticut and in New York City. While teaching in NYC, he worked as an instructional coach, co-authored the book Multisensory Strategies (Scholastic 2005), and contributed to multiple educational publications.

    Edgar completed his doctorate in Educational Leadership at Fordham University with a focus on Middle School Literacy.  

     
    Eric RauschenbachEric Rauschenbach
    Assistant Superintendent for Special Education and Student Services

    Eric K. Rauschenbach is the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education and Student Services. In this role, he manages all special education programming and staff, related service providers, nurses, psychologists, guidance counselors, and safety, security, and emergency management for the District.

    Eric strongly believes that all students can learn and deserve access to high quality, inclusive education, and he has continuously and systematically worked to remove barriers to this access. Eric is also passionate about developing a school system which values educating the whole child, including the social and the emotional growth of all students.

    Eric started his career in education at New Rochelle High School, teaching social studies and special education. He joined the faculty of Scarsdale High School as a special education teacher in 2006. Prior to his current role, he served as a Learning Resource Center Teacher, Department Chair, and Director of Special Education.

    Eric holds a B.A. in History from the State University of New York, and a M.S. in Special Education from Long Island University.

     
    Meghan TroyMeghan Troy
    Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Leadership Development

    Meghan Troy serves as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Leadership Development.

    Prior to this, she was the Principal at Scarsdale Middle School from 2017-2023. Meghan began her career in education as a history teacher at St. Barnabas High School in the Bronx. In 2001, she joined Scarsdale Middle School as a social studies teacher where she later became chair of the social studies department.

    Meghan believes that students should be kept at the center of her work and decisions should be made with them in mind. She values building meaningful relationships and solving problems collectively to move the District forward.

    Meghan holds degrees from Georgetown University (B.A., Government & Psychology), Fordham University (M.S., Curriculum & Teaching), and the College of New Rochelle (M.S., Educational Leadership). She is currently pursuing her EdD in Educational Leadership from Fairfield University.

     
    William YangWilliam Yang
    K-12 Coordinator for Digital Learning and Literacy 

    William Yang is the District Coordinator for Digital Learning and Literacy, Co-Director of the Scarsdale Center for Innovation. In this role, he manages the instructional technology program, working with instructional technology teachers and librarians across the District.

    Prior to this role, William served as classroom teacher, elementary technology teacher, staff developer, and assistant principal in New York City and in the Scarsdale Public Schools. He continues to present work on digital and media literacy at regional and national conferences.

    William received his M.A. in Elementary Education from Teachers College-Columbia University, studied Educational Administration and Supervision at New York University, and completed his M.Ed in Advanced Literacy at the Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
