Greetings Second Graders and Parents,

My name is Jennifer Cheung. I was born and raised in the Pelham Parkway area of the Bronx. I am the youngest of three girls. I attended NYC public schools up to 9th grade. I went to St. Catherine Academy for high school. I attended Manhattan College in Riverdale for both undergraduate and graduate school. I have a master's degree in Special Education. I received my second master's degree from The College of New Rochelle in literacy.

I have been teaching for 26 years. I will be celebrating my 22nd year at Quaker Ridge School.  I taught first grade at PS 83 for four years. PS 83 is located in the Morris Park area of the Bronx. 

Outside of school I enjoy traveling and bowling. I was on a bowling league. I am a Yankee fan. I am interested in photography. I love to take pictures and create photobooks.
