    Scientific research clearly demonstrates that the sustainability of natural systems is a critical concern in the 21st Century. The issues cut across the boundaries of the traditional disciplines. Every student who graduates from the Scarsdale Schools must be knowledgeable about sustainability, capable of taking effective action to create a sustainable future, and personally committed to sustainability as a value.
