Welcome to the exciting world of First Grade! First Graders are naturally hungry for information. Their eagerness, curiosity, imagination, and drive are at an all-time high. This allows for a great deal of knowledge to be constructed, resulting in significant development and growth. In First Grade, reading and writing begin to extend and enrich all other curricular areas. Autonomy is encouraged in an effort to promote greater independent risk-taking, problem-solving, and learning.
