    Welcome to  Edgewood's Physical Education Program
        My name is Jeff Weigel and I am the physical education teacher at Edgewood elementary school.
    Just a overview of my physical education class here at Edgewood.  In grades 3 through 5,  I focus on many areas athletes and sports fitness. The students are introduced to fitness, sports, project adventure, Edgewood express, world series volleyball, and badminton.  Lastly,  I am pleased to announce the introduction of our new golf program which we begin in the spring.
         I am committed to the personal growth and development of each student at Edgewood. I look forward in guiding the children to develop sportsmanship and     athleticism . I strive hard to create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable to be themselves, regardless of their skill level or athletic ability. Again, a warm welcome to physical education at Edgewood!! Go EAGLES!!

    MLB Road Trip
    This year the third, fourth, and fifth grades are going on a baseball road trip. The goal for this year is to visit ten baseball stadiums.  They will do this each week by running with their partner for five minutes.  Thirty laps around the gym are equal to one mile. This year, we are starting in Miami, Florida and ending our trip at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.  Here is the website so you can track where the students will be running to next.
