    About My Classroom

    Dear Fountain 7,
              
    Welcome back!  I hope you enjoyed your summer. I’m looking forward to an exciting and challenging year.  I hope to make each and every one become an active member in class.  We will be engaging in thoughtful discussions, debates, simulations, trials and projects.  This course will help you understand the foundations of American history through the Civil War and the how the decisions made in the past play a role in today’s society as we continually examine current events. Learning history is more than just facts, it is about critically examining the decisions and actions made to help prepare ourselves for the future.
