Welcome to Spanish Class!
I am excited to be teaching you Spanish this year!
To my sixth grade students: Welcome to Scarsdale Middle School! I look forward to building on your foundation from elementary school and teaching you more themes and topics this year. This year will be the foundation for seventh and eighth grade Spanish class! We will begin to write sentences and will also be reading to increase your vocabulary.To my eighth grade students: This is my twenty-third year teaching eighth grade Spanish! I enjoy getting my eighth graders prepared for a successful high school experience in Spanish class! I will work with you on improving your speaking skills, writing skills, listening skills and reading skills! Remember that at the end of this year you will be receiving ONE high school credit and your end-of-the-year grade will be on your high school transcripts! Let's make this year a positive one from the beginning! I expect you to be studying nightly and to give your undivided attention in class.
Note for Students and Parents: I use Schoology to post daily homework assignments, slideshows, and upcoming quizzes and tests. Please look there for class information.
OFFICE HOURS: I am available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:36 to 3:30 for Extra Help. On Fridays, I advise the Dungeons and Dragons club and am available for make-up exams after school while advising the club.
