    Welcome to the Scarsdale High School PTA Website

    The Scarsdale High School PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a not-for-profit volunteer organization consisting of parents, teachers and administrators. We are organized and chartered under the authority of the New York State PTA, a branch of the National PTA, and we self-govern under our own local unit bylaws. We are a noncommercial, nonsectarian, and nonpartisan association dedicated to enhancing the experiences of Scarsdale High School students.

    The pages listed on the Table of Contents at left provide information about how to join the SHS PTA, our programs, volunteer opportunities, meetings, and other useful information.

    Your support enables the PTA to provide a wide range of services, activities, and programs for the students, faculty, and families of SHS, such as:

    • Weekly PTA E-blasts
    • Educational Speakers
    • Grade Specific Activities
    • Multicultural Events
    • New Families Tours and Orientation
    • Summer Activities and Student Club Fairs
    • Driver Safety Programs
    • Assistance with School Services and Events (Parent/Teacher Conferences, College & Career Center, Library, College Informational Programs)
    • Teacher Grants and Gifts to the School
    • Other Special Programs and Events
