• My name is Claire Hollocou and I am the new Technology Specialist at Fox Meadow. I am excited to begin this year getting to know students, teachers, and parents. I come with 13 years of teaching experience in general education, special education, and gifted in talented environments. I have a passion for computer science, robotics, and all things innovative! I can’t wait to find out what the students are excited and passionate about and find ways to harness those interests. During Technology class students will learn how to be thoughtful digital media consumers, how to code projects, and how to use a myriad of educational programs.

     

    I also look forward to supporting the teachers as they use 1:1 devices in their classroom. Students will get experiences using technology during pertinent lessons and projects. Throughout elementary school students will use technology in the classroom to do many things including recording videos, creating animations, coding projects, and creating slideshows. I look forward to working collaboratively with the teachers and the families here at Fox Meadow!
