Scarsdale School Board Policy Feedback
Thank you for taking the time to review and provide feedback on Scarsdale School Board policies. These policies guide the work of the District and ensure safe, effective management of the District while conforming to New York State laws and regulations.
Instructions:
Below, you will find two independent windows that mirror each other in format. On the left-hand side, you will find the current District policies in number order. On the right-hand side, you will find the New York State School Board Association’s recommendations for edits. As you scroll through these policies, you will want to keep both versions side by side for comparison purposes. Use the scrollbars on the right-hand side of each window to keep them aligned. When you make recommendations, remember that you are making suggestions to keep or alter current policies. The NYSSBA will explain the rationale for their changes, in some cases, these are required by law and must be altered accordingly.Note: In some cases, the NYSSBA has elected to rescind a policy, to amend it, or to move it to another section. When this is the case there will be a filler page that indicates the policy and action recommended by NYSSBA.
When you are ready to provide comments on any given policy, come back to this section and click on this link.You will be redirected to a Google Form. Once on the form, select the policy from the list on which you would like to provide feedback. Then, add narrative comments in the section below that. When you are finished with that policy’s feedback, you must provide your name or organization you represent, then press the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page. You may repeat this process for as many policies as you would like to comment; however, you can only submit comments on one policy at a time.
