    Thanks for visiting my teacher page!  Throughout the year, I will be updating this site to provide you with information and updates about what's going on in our Greenacres musical community.  Please check back for updates on concerts, trips, and some fun classroom projects.  Please be sure to mark your calendars for concerts and trips!
     
    About My Classroom
    Our music classroom is filled with singing, moving, creating, and exploring.  I am committed to fostering a space filled with discovery, artistic excitement, expression, and innovation.  We learn musical skills, perform and compose in ensembles, and integrate other classroom's curricula in a fun and engaging atmosphere!  Every grade level also incorporates social emotional learning and attention-strenghthening skills. We also seek to explore musical traditions from around the world, beginning with the many rich and beautiful musical cultures we have represented at Greenacres.  Similarly, we investigate how music relates to our wider national and world cultures, how it reflects our values, and what music teaches us about our history.
