Reading OnlineSometimes you need to research topics online to find information. Great pictures are available on:Life Photo Archives
You can search topics using Kids Click. Kids Click is also available on the
Quaker Ridge Library Site. Kids Click is a good source for elementary school students since it suggests materials that can be read by our third grade reading levels.

Dictionary
In addition to looking up words in our green intermediate dictionaries, you may use the Aa dictionary in your doc which has been downloaded from Applications. I have also added Dictionary.com which some of you have at home. This also has a thesaurus and encyclopedia component to it.
Webster's Online Dictionary
Different magazines can give you articles about news in the world as well as information about books, authors, and interesting activities.
