 Birthdays are very special! The way we celebrate birthdays in second grade is very different from that in kindergarten and first grade. In second grade, when it is your child's birthday, they will receive a book filled with wonderful pictures and thoughtful notes created by all the other children in the class. They will also receive a special birthday pencil and scratch off ticket. We will sing "Happy Birthday" as I present all the gifts to your child.
Please DO NOT send in any treats or party favors for your child to give to their classmates.
