Welcome to my page!

 

The 2024/2025 school year marks my 22nd year as an educator in Scarsdale and my 30th teaching year overall. I'm so proud to have spent the majority of my career teaching and learning alongside my incredible colleagues in the Scarsdale Public Schools. Having grown up in the neighboring community of White Plains where I swam competitively and played lacrosse, I have always known what an esteemed school district Scarsdale is. After high school, I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science with a dual major in Psychology and Elementary Education N - 6. Additionally, I earned a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Literacy K - 12 from Fordham University, where I graduated with honors.

 

For me, teaching is a vocation, it is my life's work. While my most important role is as a mother to my amazing son and wonderful daughter, now both in college, I gain immeasurable pride in knowing I have positively impacted the life of a child and developed life-long bonds with so many families along the way. It is my privilege to continue to serve the Scarsdale community as a kindergarten teacher at Fox Meadow School.
