About My Classroom: 

Choice follows the same curriculum as the main building, but because we are such a small group, content is organized into two themed curriculum loops: stream science and garden science. Regardless of the loop we are studying, most our work involves experimentation and analysis in the classroom. Because our units are thematically designed and do not focus on one particular “branch” of science, content is integrated and students grapple with high-level ideas right away.  We “figure it out” together while examining natural phenomena, using data, and making observations to draw conclusions.
