PTC/PTA Student Photo Use and Publicity Opt Out Form
Highlighting the achievements of our children is an integral component of responsible reporting to our community as well as a way of celebrating the success of our schools and students. To that end, the Scarsdale Council of Parent Teacher Associations (PTC) and the seven individual Scarsdale PTA units may photograph, record, film, or videotape students or acquire photographs, recordings, films, or videos depicting students in the district engaged in a variety of PTC, PTA, or school related activities. Student assemblies, recognition programs, performances, concerts, classroom projects, service based learning events, carnivals, fairs, after school extracurricular activities, PTC or PTA programs for children, and special visits from authors and artists are a few examples of the activities in which students may be photographed, recorded, filmed, or videotaped. Similarly, the PTC or PTAs may write articles about such events in which they quote or reference the names of participating students.
For additional information, please follow this link to the PTC/PTA Student Photo Use Standing Rule.
**Please note: The Scarsdale School District has its own separate photo opt out form pertaining to District publications and the District's use of student photos.
To opt out from PTC/PTA publicity, in whole or in part, please log into your school's Membership Toolkit account under "Family Information" to declare all publication preferences.
