I have the honor, privilege and responsibility of being your library media specialist.  When I think about my hopes and dreams for the library, I am reminded of this quote by librarian, professor and scholar R. David Lankes. He wrote, "Bad libraries build collections, good libraries build services, great libraries build communities." 

My goal is to make our library a great library - a place with a phenomenal collection of books, a place that offers a wealth of services, but most importantly a community of readers and writers, thinkers and doers. 

I look forward to meeting you - learning about your reading interests and your life interests. I am eager to support you in any way I can - finding books that you totally want to read, navigating our amazing databases, reading in the company of others (book clubs!) and even rebooting your reading life, if needed.
