The science curriculum is designed to encourage inquiry. Students are encouraged to ask questions and find their own answers. They are active participants in hands-on activities and experiments. They develop and sharpen their observing, inferring, hypothesizing, and analyzing skills. Students learn about the life cycle, electricity, magnetism, and the earth. Students will work in groups and as a class to conduct experiments. Children will learn about life cycles and sustainability using the Fox Meadow garden. Students will record observations, conclusions, and attend a trip to the Hudson River!
