Ultimate Frisbee

  • Welcome to Raider Ultimate Frisbee

    This spring, Scarsdale High School will field one Ultimate Frisbee Team:
    • Ultimate Frisbee is open to all and is for players that are interested in trying something new.  It offers challenges at all levels of play.

  • Practice will take place at Scarsdale High School, in the Multi-Purpose Room and outside, until the field at Edgewood is open.  Times will be determined by field availability and weather conditions.   
      
    Players are expected to be present at all practice sessions.  Missing sessions will be incorporated into the coach's evaluation of players and impacts playing time.

  • Preseason Practice
    Team practices begin on Monday, 2/25/19.  Players must sign up before 3/15/19.  A Google calendar will be shared with the team and parents listing the practice and game times and dates.
     
    Until the field at Edgewood is open, practice is from Monday through Friday from 3:15 pm-4:30 pm at Scarsdale High School in the Multi-Purpose Room.
     
    Once field at Edgewood is open, practice is from Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm

  • Regular Season

    Ultimate Frisbee is a commitment of about 2 hours per day, 5 days a week and occasional Saturday games and tournaments.  It is our expectation that athletes will be present for all team practices, games and tournaments. 

     

    The regular season ends in late May.
