Scratch Jr is an iPad app that introduces kids to basic coding while having them create a digital story. By snapping together programming blocks, children can make characters move and jump. In the process, children learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer. They use math and language in a meaningful and motivating context.
Inventioneers is a physics engineering game that requires kids to design, test, and revise until they succeed. Kids must use given tools and helpers to create an invention that will meet each challenge and help a special character. Kids press play to see their inventions in action. If it fails, they can try again. A "Create" mode allows kids to create and share their own inventions.
