    PT Council's Legislative Advocacy Committee strives to promote awareness of local, state, and national education-related issues. Both the National and New York State PTAs encourage us to research and conduct analysis on issues and positions critical to the goals of our organization.  Check back regularly for additional information and updates.

    PT Council Legislative Advocacy Breakfast

    PT Council Legislative Advocacy Committee is hosting its second annual Legislative Breakfast. Officials who are expected to attend include New York State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, New York State Senator Shelly Mayer, New York State Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, New York State Regent Judith Johnson, Westchester County Legislator Ben Boykin; Scarsdale Village Trustees, and Scarsdale Board of Education Trustees. PTA Members, District Administration, and Scarsdale Faculty will engage the legislators in discussion about current legislative policies and proposals that affect our schools and our students.
