My name is Señora Marchese and I am the Spanish FLES teacher at Greenacres Elementary School.The FLES program at Greenacres Elementary School is designed to introduce students to basic vocabulary and phrases necessary for simple communication in Spanish. All students in grades two through five will come to Spanish twice per cycle, each time for a duration of 40 minutes.Each session is filled with a variety of activities to accommodate all different learning styles. Listening comprehension skills are emphasized in order to promote a natural learning experience in the language. Culture, which is woven throughout the curriculum, provides opportunities for students to connect with their own culture and make comparisons of their culture with others.I plan on enjoying every moment with your children as they participate in listening and speaking activities, games, songs, and much more. ¡Todo en español!
