• profile William Yang has been an educator for over twenty years as a classroom teacher, technology teacher, staff developer, and administrator in New York City Public Schools, Chappaqua Public Schools, and in the Scarsdale Public Schools.  Mr. Yang received his M.A. in Elementary Education from Teachers College-Columbia University, studied Educational Administration and Supervision at New York University, and recently completed his M.Ed in Advanced Literacy Specialization at the Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
    Prior to working at Edgewood, Mr. Yang was the Assistant Principal for the Roaring Brook School in Chappaqua, New York. Mr. Yang has also held several positions in the Scarsdale Public Schools such as the head elementary technology teacher, Teacher-in-Charge for Fox Meadow, and the technology teacher for the Greenacres School in previous years. Mr. Yang is also a Faculty Leader for the Summer Institute in Digital Literacy at the University of Rhode Island,  a contributing writer for the International Literacy Association’s  Literacy Today's technology blog, and has presented his research and work on digital literacy with colleagues at local and national conferences. 
    He is very excited to be a part of the Edgewood community!
