  • Homework Policies

All homework is due on the following day by the start of school, unless specified otherwise in notes above.  Homework will be checked daily by Ms. Lian.  The homework assigned is not busy work, it is valuable and important to the work we will be dolng on the following school day.  While it is not expected that every answer is correct, it is expected that all work is completed independently, with your best effort.  Now is the time to create strong habits for homework.  Designate a quiet space where you can work efficiently.  If you get stuck on something, write down what you are confused about and demonstrate your best attempts at solving the problem.  The time that is posted next to each subject corresponds to the expected amount of time for the given assignments.  While this may vary student to student, it should not vary by more than 10 minutes in either direction.  Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns about this via email at mlian@scarsdaleschools.org
