Q. When and Where Does Yearbook Meet?
A. Yearbook meets every Wednesday in room 1N7. If you are interested in joining yearbook, you can simply show up on Wednesdays, or feel free to email Ms. Stacey Dawes email@example.com for information.
Q. Where Can I Purchase a SHS Yearbook?
A. Yearbooks can be purchased at Yearbook Order Center
Q. What Are Senior Ads and When Are They Due?
A. Senior Ads are found at the back of the yearbook. They are a paid tribute to graduating seniors from their parents or family members, and are a way to celebrate the student's hardwork, accomplishments, and high school graduation. The first deadline for ads is September 30th, 2022, no later than midnight; however, ads can still be purchased after midnight, with a late fee assessed, until October 14th, by midnight. October 14th is the final deadline. Ads cannot be purchased after this date.
Q. How Do I Create a Senior Ad and Where Can I Purchase One?
A. Create and purchase your ad online using Herff Jones’s Online Ad Creation. Checkout this flier for an overview or you can follow the STEPS below:
STEP 1: Go to the yearbook order center
STEP 2: Enter school’s order number: 4750
STEP 3: Select the "Yearbook Ads" tab at the top of the page
STEP 4: Select the ad type you want and follow the directions
Q. How and when are Senior-Freshman & Senior Twin pictures taken
A. Senior-Freshman & Senior Twin pictures will be taken during the month of October on Mondays and Wednesdays during 7th period and after school, starting October 3rd. If you would like to have your picture taken, sign up by visiting calendly.
Q. What are Senior-Freshman & Senior Twin Pictures?
A. A Senior-Freshman photo is a picture of a senior with their freshman sibling(s). A Senior Twin picture is a picture of senior siblings who are born on the same day and same year.
Q. How and When Do I Take My Senior Portrait?
A. The senior portrait is taken by the school's photography company, Robert Taylor photography, by appointment only. Seniors/ families will be mailed instructions on how to sign up for an appointment towards the end of October. Once those instructions are sent, an appointment can also be scheduled by clicking the link below. If, for some reason, you do not receive the email, or it has been misplaced, please email Stacey Dawes firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be able to provide you with the necessary code. You need the code to schedule the appointment.
Q. When Is My Senior Pose (Pictures Taken by Robert Taylor Photography) Due and How Can I Submit It?
A. This information is forthcoming.
Q. What Are the Requirements for My Senior Picture?
A. Select the pose that is a vertical shot. Your head and shoulders are the only body parts that can appear and the background selection must be moonlight blue. Be certain the picture does not show your hands and you are not wearing a hat. However, if you elect to submit a cap and gown picture, you can select a pose where the cap is worn.
