Everyday we will have a morning and afternoon snack. The snacks should be labeled separately from the lunch. It is always helpful to have the snack labeled, "(Name) morning snack #1. (Name) afternoon snack #2". Otherwise the children get very confused.
All snacks should be healthy (carrots, yogurt, etc.) and easy for the children to manage independently.Also, please provide a drink in a non-spill, NON-GLASS container. In addition, please include forks, spoons, etc.- whatever is needed for
the snack to be eaten.
The purpose of the snack is to provide a social break and a boost of energy. The snack lasts 5-10 minutes. Please be mindful not to pack such a large snack since it is such a short time and just a quick energy break for the children.
