The STI course "Global Connections" will be hosting the following speakers:February 12, 2015 – Anise Mehdi: Emmy Award-winning journalist, filmmaker, and educator specializing in religion and the arts. A producer, director and writer for 30 years, Anisa’s work is an expression of her commitment to cross-boundary understanding and appreciation.March 4, 2015 – Martin Sherman: Ambassador/Head Development, Human Rights and Peacebuilding Team, UK Mission to the United Nations
March 12, 2015 – African Summit: Panel of African representatives who will speak on a myriad of issues facing the continent.
April 15, 2015 – Centro Hispano: Whose mission is to assist, support, and strengthen the Hispanic community; to help them become self-sufficient; and to ease their transition into their new culture while maintaining and enriching their own.
