The Walking School Bus Operates Fridays!

First Friday will be September 13th

The Walking School Bus (WSB) is when a group of children walk to school together with parent “drivers” along a safe route. The Bus stops to pick up children at preset stops along the route. If you can’t walk with the “School Bus” but want your child to ride along, please contact your line’s “bus driver” (on the sign up form) so they know your child is riding without you. Like a real bus, we don't hold the bus for latecomers.  Unlike a real bus, we don't operate in the rain or snow.

A note from Principal Hill regarding our Walking School Bus:

The Walking School Bus! What a great way to get the day started. Walking to school in safety and having fun in the company of your neighbors and friends. Walking and talking as the trail of students meander through the neighborhood lead by responsible adults. You are encouraged to have your children take advantage of this opportunity and to also volunteer to escort a group of children on one of the routes.

    Happy Walking!
Contact Kathy Bertini with any questions.
