• Here at the Scarsdale Middle School, we teach a 6th-8th grade Fitness Unit
    where we focus on the FITT Principles.
    We educate our students on the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle.
    Our recommendations for cardiovascular exercise is:
    3-5 days per week, 60-85% of your max heart rate, 20-60 minutes per session
    Our recommendations for strength training is:
    2 times per week, 12-15 repetitions, 1-2 sets per lifting machine
