  • BECOME A MEMBER
    Membership to the PTA is open to all Greenacres parents, teachers and others who share an interest in good education and the welfare of children.
     
    MEMBERSHIP DUES
    Membership dues for the 2019 - 2020 school year are $25 per family plus $6 per child for two lice checks throughout the year.
     
    Annual PTA dues help provide funding for programs like the Cultural Arts Assemblies, Artful Looking, Visiting Authors, iCare Programs, for classroom enrichment materials and more. Since costs continue to rise for all that we do, your membership is essential to keep these programs active. By mandate, a portion of our PTA dues is allocated to our parent New York State and National PTA Organization. 
     
    Annual PTA membership is required for your children to participate in PTA sponsored activities including After School and Recess/Lunch Clubs.
     
    Membership also provides each family with a child eligible to attend Greenacres with one (1) complementary paper copy of the Greenacres Student Directory and access to SchoolBee (Online directory) and bi-weekly PTA newsletters.
     
    The $6 additional fee provides two Lice Checks throughout the year. Follow-up rechecks will also be performed for those children and their classes affected.

    FIFTH GRADE DUES 
    We will be collecting fifth grade dues at the beginning of the school year to cover various PTA-sponsored fifth grade activities and expenses, including the yearbook, movie night, t-shirt, field day, moving up ceremony & party, and Zany Olympics. The dues for 2019 - 2020 are $125 per student. Note: depending on the location of the Fifth Grade Party, an additional ticket may be required.

  • PHOTO RELEASE FORM
    To highlight the achievements of our children, the Scarsdale Council of Parent Teacher Associations (PTC) and PTA may photograph, record, film, or videotape students or acquire photographs, recordings, films, or videos students engaged in a variety of PTC, PTA, or school related activities.
     
    Any parent/guardian who prefers to opt out of some or all PTC/PTA publicity efforts must complete the PTC/PTA Student Photo Use Policy and Publicity Opt Out Form by September 1st and submit it to the school PTA mailbox (click HERE). Please note the Scarsdale School District has its own, separate, photo opt out form pertaining to the District’s use of photos and videos.
