    Dear 4-B Families,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to a new school year filled with many opportunities for growth and exploration. Together, we will enjoy a productive year with many fun-filled experiences.  There are several stimulating activities to look forward to during fourth grade.  Each student will continue to become an avid reader, and will enjoy going through the writing process to craft many genres of published work. In math, students will continue to become strong problem solvers as we navigate the Reveal Math program. We can also look forward to participating in many hands-on science activities, and we will learn about the interesting historical periods that are part of our social studies curriculum.

When school begins, we will spend time learning new classroom procedures. Please be sure to bring a nut-free snack and a reusable water bottle to school each day. Also, please bring an independent reading book to school on the first day.

I look forward to meeting all of you in the near future, and I am eager to learn all about each student in our class. I hope your last days of summer are enjoyable and invigorating. We are going to have a fantastic year together in fourth grade!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Warm regards,
