Dear 2P Students and Families,
Welcome to second grade! I hope you are looking forward to returning to school as much as I am! I can't wait to meet you and hear about all your adventures this summer. I am thirilled to be your teacher as we enter this very unique school year together.While I have been preparing for this year, I have also enjoyed time with my family, which I can't wait to share with you when we see each other in school. Second grade is filled with many fascinating topics. Most importantly, you will become amazing readers, writers and mathematicians! Since we will not be eating our snack in school this year, please eat breakfast or lunch that will sustain you for the time we are together.
We appreciate all of your support as we navigate this “new” school year together. Please know your child’s safety and well being is of the utmost concern. The goal is to create a positive learning environment for all learners! For the first day of school please send in a picture of your child for us to keep in class. Enjoy the remainder of your summer and we look forward to meeting you soon.
