SchoolPay Parent Account

Register for a free SchoolPay Parent Center account. Watch the video, or follow these easy steps:
Step 1 (parent information): Enter your information including email address, name, address and phone number
Step 2 (child/children information): Enter the school name (not district name) for your first child, their student ID number, and last name. If you do not know your child’s student ID number, you may look it up in the Infinite Campus Portal. Click on this link to login to the Infinite Campus Portal. Repeat step two for each additional child in your household.
Step 3 (confirm and log in): Upon confirmation, an email will be sent containing a randomly-assigned password. If you do not see it, check your spam filter. Copy and paste the password from the email into the final page of your registration. You will be prompted to change your password.

Making Payments

Login Location
Make payments from your Parent Center account. Login directly from your district’s home page website or from the upper, right-hand corner of http://www.schoolpay.com
Multiple Children
Currently, all general payments are made child by child. You may pay for any number of non-recurring payment items for each child. If your district also used SchoolPay for Food Service, family check out is available for those payments.
Purchase History/Receipts
You will receive an electronic receipt for every transaction. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your spam filter. It’s a good idea to set your email to accept mail from office@mypaynet.com. If you made payment from the Parent Center, your payment is also recorded in the Payment History (see primary navigation bar).

Security and Privacy

Security
Paying at secure online websites is less prone to fraud than paying at a physical location or over the telephone. We are PCI-DSS certified (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), the industry standard for internet-based financial services transactions. All data is encrypted using SSL technology so that payment account numbers are never viewable in any part of the service.
Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy is to never share your information with third parties. The information you provide is used solely for the purposes of completing the transaction.
Financial Account Information Storage
Storing account information is optional and not required to register or use the service. Storing payment account information speeds check out and is required to perform some special functions such as automatic replenishment of food service accounts, however, it is never required.
Errors
Each transaction undergoes verification processes to guard against fraud and weed out typing errors. If the account number is not recognized you will be immediately notified and the transaction will not be authorized.

User Name/Password Issues

Because SchoolPay is a secure site, we never resend passwords. Instead, passwords are reset. Simply enter your email in the login box and then click the link that reads “I forgot my password…” A random password will be sent to your email address (please verify your spam filter). You may log in with the new password and immediately change it to something easier to remember.

Support

The fastest way to get service is to use the contact form in your account or send an email to customersupport@mypaynet.com . SchoolPay customer service is offered Monday –Friday from 7 am to 7 pm Central time at 888.88.MYPAY (press 1 for support). After hours, weekend and holiday support is offered via email.

Note on Completing Transactions:

The payment options in SchoolPay are VISA, Master and Discover cards (AMEX cards are not accepted) as well as electronic checks.

When making a transaction in SchoolPay, please make sure to go all the way to the page that says "Completed!".  Avoid clicking on your browser's back or forward buttons.  Also, you should receive a Transaction Receipt via email from My Payment Network for each one of your transactions.  The email receipt may go to your spam/junk folder so you should try to confirm your transaction by checking your "Transaction Archive", which is the tab to the right of "Make a Payment" in the parent account.  If you don't get to the "Completed!" page AND/OR don't receive a receipt of your transaction via email AND/OR cannot confirm your transaction in the Transaction Archive, that means that your transaction was not valid and that you need to do it again.

Regarding online payment errors, most of them are bank declines by the credit card issuers for a variety of security reasons.  So if you can, please call your credit card issuer and provide some specifics:

1. Online transaction

2. Name of the merchant (Edgewood PTA, Edgewood After-School Clubs, Edgewood Athletic Association)

3. Dollar Amount

4. Tell them that you are getting an error and see if they can explain or do anything on their side.  If you give your bank the exact error, they should have the full definition and be able to assist you in completing your transaction.  All banks use slightly different error messages (i.e. some banks reject transactions when they see multiple transactions to the same merchant for sometimes the same amount, which is the case when paying for similar items for multiple children)

Should you encounter any technical issues with SchoolPay, please contact schoolpay@edgewoodpta.org.  You can also contact SchoolPay's customer service directly at Toll Free Number 888-886-9729 or email at customerservice@mypaynet.com.

Thank you.
