About My Classroom Welcome to our first grade classroom!! The teaching and learning philosophy in my classroom is to promote the academic and emotional development of my students in a nurturing and safe environment. It is my hope that our classroom becomes a community of life-long learners. I believe that each student in my class has valuable contributions to make in our learning. My goal is to create a classroom environment where each student has opportunities to experience success and is encouraged to work to his or her fullest potential. I strive for a combination of enrichment, critical and creative thinking, content and process, and consuming and producing knowledge.
